Voting Remains Open for “Favorite New TV Drama” and “Favorite New TV Comedy”

Jason Biggs, Matt Bomer, David Boreanaz, Elisha Cuthbert, Ellen DeGeneres, Nina Dobrev, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Nathan Fillion, Morgan Freeman, Ginnifer Goodwin, Ashley Greene, Alyson Hannigan, Liam Hemsworth, Julianne Hough, Terrence Howard, Vanessa Hudgens, Josh Hutcherson, Angus T. Jones, Jennifer Lawrence, Zachary Levi, Adam Levine, Ewan McGregor, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chloe Grace Moretz, Jennifer Morrison, Dermot Mulroney, Liam Neeson, Sharon Osbourne, Katy Perry, Busy Philipps, Rob Schneider, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Emma Stone and many more are scheduled to attend PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012 at the Nokia Theater, L.A. Live on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Performances by Faith Hill and Demi Lovato were previously announced.

The People’s Choice Award winners, nominees and categories are determined by the fans and thus far, the 2012 show has logged more than 230,000,000 votes on PeoplesChoice.com, the official People’s Choice Awards Facebook app and Twitter. The categories of “Favorite New TV Comedy” and “Favorite New TV Drama” remain open at http://www.PeoplesChoice.com/pca/vote/ until show night. For “Favorite New TV Comedy,” fans can vote for “2 Broke Girls,” “Last Man Standing,” “New Girl,” “Suburgatory,” and “Up All Night.” For “Favorite New TV Drama,” the nominees are “Once Upon A Time,” “Person of Interest,” “Revenge,” “The Secret Circle,” and “Terra Nova.”

Now in its 38th year, the PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS is voted on entirely by the public for fan favorites in music, movies and television. The “People’s Choice” web site at www.peopleschoice.com houses the voting platform where fans determine the categories, nominees and winners for the annual awards show. Fred Nelson is the President of People’s Choice, and the awards show is produced by Procter & Gamble Production, Inc., which is represented by MediaVest Worldwide, Inc., supervisors of the production. Kaley Cuoco is the host of PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012 and Mark Burnett is the executive producer.
