ABC Releases Five Posters for Once Upon A Time at Comic-Con!

ABC has released five posters for their new fairytale drama series, Once Upon A Time, at Comic-Con. I missed seeing these there. Did you? Well, here they are if you did miss them.

Once Upon A Time is from Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, who were the executive producers of Lost. This story is about Emma Swan who has taken care of herself her entire life since she was an abandoned baby. Her son (Henry) that she left for adoption finds her and tells her that she is Snow White’s and Prince Charming’s missing daughter. Emma takes Henry back home to Storybrooke and finds it is a place where magic had been forgotten but still there.

The show sounds interesting and gives an impression that there is a lot of stories to tell. I’ll probably take a look and see how it is. How about you?

Jeri Ryan Will Guest Star on Syfy’s Hit Series WAREHOUSE 13 — “Queen for a Day”

Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager, Body of Proof) will guest star as a would-be bride on Syfy‘s hit series Warehouse 13 Monday, August 1, at 9PM (ET/PT).

In Monday’s episode “Queen for a Day,” Ryan portrays Amanda, whose planned fairy tale wedding is derailed when exposure to an artifact threatens her life and the lives of everyone around her.

Ryan joins Season Three guest stars Rene Auberjonois, Jaime Murray, Sasha Roiz, Faran Tahir, Lindsay Wagner and Ashley Williams.

The most successful series in Syfy’s 18-year history, Warehouse 13 follows a team of government agents who work at a massive, top-secret storage facility in windswept South Dakota, which houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and preternatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government.

The Warehouse’s caretaker Artie Nielsen (Saul Rubinek) charges Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock), Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly), young apprentice Claudia Donovan (Allison Scagliotti) and newcomer Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore) with chasing down reports of supernatural and paranormal activity in search of new objects to cache at the Warehouse, as well as helping him to control the Warehouse itself. CCH Pounder plays the Warehouse’s mysterious caretaker, Mrs. Frederic.

Ewan McGregor, Betty White, Kristin Chenoweth and Jillian Michaels Will Join Whoopi Goldberg as Celebrity Judges for the Inaugural AMERICAN HUMANE ASSOCIATION HERO DOG AWARDS

Hallmark Channel announced today that international film star Ewan McGregor (“The Beginners”) will join actress, comedian, and author Betty White (“Hot in Cleveland”) on stage as a celebrity presenter, while film, stage, and television actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth (“Glee”, “Pushing Daisies”) and health and wellness expert Jillian Michaels (“The Doctors”, “Dr. Phil”) will join Whoopi Goldberg, among others, as celebrity judges for the inaugural American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards(TM), which will premiere as a 90-minute original special on Hallmark Channel, Friday, November 11 (8 p.m. ET/PT, 7C).

“I promote lifelong, healthy relationships between dogs and people both on camera and in my everyday life. Healthy, happy pets mean longer lives for many people. It’s just something that I believe. I was thrilled to lend my name to the American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards(R) as one of the celebrity judges,” says Michaels. “I am truly honored to be a part of this very special program.”

In Doomsday Prophecy, premiering Saturday, August 13, at 9PM (ET/PT), a book editor (Buckley) and an archeologist (Staite) hunt down a mysterious author of prophetic novels. Fox International Channels Announces Global Launch Dates for the Second Season of THE WALKING DEAD!

Just off the heels of Comic-Con, Fox International Channels (FIC) announced October 17th as the kickoff launch date for the highly anticipated second season of the television series The Walking Dead.

Once again, a few hours after AMC’s premiere Sunday, October 16th, FIC will begin its second season rollout on Monday, October 17th. All FIC markets will be launching the first episode during the week of October 17th and before the second episode is released in the US.

The Walking Dead audience wants to see this show live,” said Sharon Tal Yguado, SVP of Scripted Programming. “The first season became a hyped global water cooler event and we feel obligated to bring the show to international viewers right after its US launch.”

Second season of The Walking Dead will reach FOX audiences in 122 countries, speaking 35 languages and will be seen by over 200 million internationally. Markets include: Australia, UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Balkans, Baltic, Norway, Netherlands, all Latin America, all Middle East, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Africa.

Season one of The Walking Dead marked the best performance for a US cable show in the international market. It delivered record breaking ratings in both the US and internationally. It was nominated for several awards including but not limited to: Best Television Series Drama at the 68th Golden Globes and has also been nominated for three awards for the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards in the US. On Tuesday night’s episode, brothers Raul & Paul Bustamante in San Francisco are given one hour to hide a briefcase worth $100,000. Once that time is up, they’re taken into custody by local police detectives Cliff Cook & Dean Taylor and brought to investigative headquarters. Over the next 48 hours, the detectives will work with professional interrogators – Detective Paul Bishop and Deputy District Attorney/best-selling author Mary Hanlon Stone – to combine efforts and determine the location of the briefcase. All they’ll have to go on are cell phone records, any receipts and the GPS coordinates from the players’ car. If the two detectives are able to locate the briefcase within the 48 hours, they’ll get to keep the money. If not, the two players will keep the $100,000.

Syfy’s EUREKA Gets Animated This December for a Special Holiday-Themed Episode

Syfy‘s hit series Eureka gets an animated makeover this December for a special holiday themed episode, proving that indeed anything is possible in the town of Eureka. In the first-of-its-kind episode, the quaint town of geniuses will be transformed into animated versions of themselves. The stand-alone holiday episode will also feature a stellar line up of guest stars lending their voices to a variety of characters – Jim Parsons, Chris Parnell, Matt Frewer and Edward James Olmos. The airdate for the holiday episode will be announced at a later date.

In the episode “Do You See What I See,” it’s Christmas again in Eureka, and Sheriff Carter (Colin Ferguson) and Allison Blake (Salli Richardson-Whitfield) are secretly planning the perfect holiday surprise for their kids. But something mysterious interferes with the super-photon generator designed to create a faux winter wonderland on Main Street, sending a kaleidoscopic wave of color crashing over Eureka, and leaving the entire town and its inhabitants animated. Adapting to the rules of their animated world, our cartoon heroes encounter talking creatures, anthropomorphized machines, and snowy foes as they race to find a solution before Christmas morning…or face potentially being a cartoon forever.

Jim Parsons is set to voice Carter’s long put-on Jeep, who’s had enough of his owner’s cavalier attitude towards him. Edward James Olmos will voice Rudy, the leader of a pack of sled dogs who befriends Deputy Andy. Chris Parnell also guest stars as Dr. Noah Drummer, reprising his role from last year’s Christmas special. Matt Frewer will be featured as an animated, altered version of himself, and helps Jo (Erica Cerra) make an important realization about her tough-girl personality.

Leading production and entertainment company Curious Pictures will produce the animation featured in the episode, which will be broken up into different styles including Anime, claymation, animation inspired by the Looney Tunes cartoons and modern cg.

Eureka continues with all-new episodes Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Syfy. On tonight’s episode, Stan Lee makes a cameo appearance as Dr. Lee, an expert in the effects of gamma radiation who is a candidate for the special mission that has been given to Global Dynamics.

Eureka seems like any other cozy, Pacific Northwest town, but is actually a secret community of geniuses assembled by the government to conduct top-secret research. What they’ve unwittingly created is a place where anything imaginable can happen� and does.
