White Collar, created by Jeff Eastin, will return with 16 episodes. Production is set to begin in 2012. The series is currently filming the latter half of its third season, which will air in January 2012.
The show stars Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay. The first half of its second season ended with a season high 4.3 million total viewers tuning in. White Collar has averaged 3.9 million on Tuesdays at 9 p.m.
“We’re thrilled to offer our viewers another season that promises some of the best writing in television, unexpected twists and generous helpings of America’s favorite bromance,” said USA Network co-presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber.
White Collar joins a strong lineup at USA with Suits, Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, Fairly Legal and Common Law. Necessary Roughness may return for a second season as well.
