Sony Has Set a Date for The Amazing Spider-Man Sequel!

Even though The Amazing Spider-Man doesn’t come to theatres until July 3, 2012, Sony has set a May 2, 2014 release for the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man.

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone star in Sony’s Spider-Man Reboot due to the falling out of Sam Raimi and Sony regarding details of the never-released Spider-Man 4 with Tobey Macguire. Marc Webb will be directing The Amazing Spider-Man.

There are no other details regarding this sequel, so stay tuned for further details.

Entertainment Weekly’s New Issue Covers The New Spider-Man and Comic-Con!

Entertainment Weekly has released their new cover for their magazine and it has the Andrew Garfield in costume as the Amazing Spider-Man. I’m hoping this movie does well, but we’ll just have to see right? Anyone else tired of all of the reboots? I guess it’s whatever gimmick the studios can use to get us to watch their movies. Let’s not forget 3-D. Anyways, the costume has been changed a bit and will have to wait and see what EW has for other photos of the costume. The issue is out tomorrow July 15th.
