DreamWorks DRAGONS: RIDERS OF BERK Brings High-Flying, Fire-Breathing Fun to Cartoon Network Tuesday, Sept. 4

DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk premieres Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. The Academy Award(R)-nominated film, How To Train Your Dragon, which grossed approximately $500 million at the worldwide box office and opened as the #1 film in over 30 countries, serves as the launching pad for the third episodic television series from DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (Nasdaq: DWA) and its first-ever on Cartoon Network.

This weekly animated series follows the continuing adventures of Hiccup and his dragon Toothless on the Viking island of Berk, along with the band of dragon trainers, all of whom now have dragons of their own! Through their training, the kids develop special bonds with their dragons by learning about each dragon’s unique powers, discovering entirely new species and battling against new villains as they explore whole new worlds they never dreamed existed.

DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk features an all-star line-up of voice talent, including Jay Baruchel (Hiccup), America Ferrera (Astrid), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Fishlegs) and T.J. Miller (Tuffnut), all of whom are original cast members from the feature film, which was among the top ten movies at the global box office in 2010. In addition, Tim Conway (Mulch), Chris Edgerly (Gobber), Mark Hamill (Alvin the Treacherous), Julie Marcus (Ruffnut), Nolan North (Stoick), Zach Pearlman (Snotlout), Stephen Root (Mildew) and Tom Wilson (Bucket) voice main characters throughout the series.

DreamWorks Animation’s much-anticipated sequel to How To Train Your Dragon is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 20, 2014.

DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk is produced by DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. Art Brown and Douglas Sloan are show runners. The series is co-executive produced by Sandra Rabins. Anthony Bell serves as supervising director.

The action-packed second season of MTV‘s Teen Wolf will come to a close with the gripping season finale, airing Monday, August 13 at 10:00p.m. ET/PT. Kicking the night off at 8:00p.m., the two previous week’s nail-biting episodes will air back-to-back, leading up to the big event. Immediately following the season finale at 11:00p.m., Teen Wolf: Revelations will bring the stars together on one stage to discuss the epic season, share behind the scenes moments, and give never-before-seen glimpses into their characters.

In Monday night’s season finale, the aftermath of a shocking death on the lacrosse field, forces Scott and his friends to rush to figure out Gerard’s master plan. Syfy Ventures and Hasbro to Launch First Ever G.I. JOE Social Game

Syfy Ventures and Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) today announced they will develop the first ever online social game based on the iconic G.I. JOE brand, marking the latest addition to Syfy Games’ action-packed entertainment slate targeting male core gamers on social network platforms.

The game, G.I. Joe: Special Ops, will launch in June on Facebook and Syfy Games.com (www.syfy.com/gijoe), among other platforms worldwide.

In the arena-based combat game, players can join either the G.I JOE team or the villainous COBRA organization, accessing a huge catalogue of iconic heroes and villains along with spectacular weapons and vehicles.

G.I. Joe: Special Ops will be released under the Syfy Games banner, which is the umbrella brand for Syfy’s gaming projects, including the partnerships with Trion Worlds (Defiance and Rift) and Bigpoint (Battlestar Galatica Online).

As part of the agreement granting exclusive worldwide licensing rights on online social media platforms for a fresh take on the classic G.I. JOE brand, Syfy Games will serve as publisher. Artplant, creator of the award-winning Battlestar Galactica Online, will develop the game, which will be free-to-play.

NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products and QMx Interactive are bringing the latest Warehouse 13 (from Syfy) technology to iPhone users with the Warehouse 13 Farnsworth Video Communicator App. Fans of the hit cable series can now keep in touch with friends, family and other agents with the new app, which is officially licensed through NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products Group.

Users will be able to exchange video and audio messages and create share their own missions – all in the signature interface of the steampunk communications device from the popular Syfy series.

“The mystery and drama of ‘Warehouse 13’ has really resonated with viewers and we think that this iPhone app is the perfect way for fans to broaden their experience with the show,” said Chris Lucero, Director of Global Licensing, NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products Group.
