NBC Will Be Giving Out Free Chairs at Comic-Con 2013!

They will be located at the Tin Fish in the Gaslamp Quarter (across from the San Diego Convention Center). The chairs will be made out of cardboard and have images from NBC’s Dracula and Grimm on them! Be sure to grab one as they will probably disappear really fast!

For the eighth consecutive year, the Costume Designers Guild (IATSE Local 892), the labor union representing Costume Designers and other costume professionals in film and television, will be participating in San Diego’s International Comic-Con July 19-20 at the San Diego Convention Center. This year the CDG’s presence will be bigger than ever with a line-up of events and panels featuring top Costume Designers and Costume Illustrators.

“The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses” Concert by the San Diego Symphony during Comic-Con

The San Diego Symphony is putting on a concert during Comic-Con 2012 with a Zelda theme! The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses is an Ashford Education Summer Pops Concert. It will be held at the Embarcadero Marina Park South on Thursday, July 12, at 8:00pm.Tickets run between $20.00 and $76.00 with a $5.00 Ticket Handling Fee.There will be limited $20.00 Summer Pops Reserved Parking available if you choose that option. (Please note: there will be NO table service in the Champagne section for The Legend of Zelda. The Embarcadero Marina Park South is behind the San Diego Convention Center.

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses showcases the work of Nintendo composer Koji Kondo. This will be a fantastic cinematic video presentation in concert with the magnificent sounds of the San Diego Symphony.

Warner Bros. To Follow Comic-Con Autograph Ticket System

Comic-Con and Warner Bros. Entertainment are announcing today that Warner Bros. will follow the official Comic-Con International: San Diego ticket distribution system for autograph signings at this year’s event.

As in years past, all signings will be held at the Warner Bros. booth, which is #4545 on the Comic-Con show floor.  But under the long-standing Comic-Con system, Warner Bros. will distribute wristbands for signings via daily ticket drawings held at Sails Pavilion #9 inside the San Diego Convention Center.

“Safety is always our main concern with signings or events, so it is Comic-Con policy that access is regulated by a drawing for a chance to win — giving all attendees an equal opportunity to enter,” said David Glanzer, director of marketing and public relations for Comic-Con International.  “We are happy that Warner Bros. has agreed to utilize this system and thank them for once again offering such unique opportunities to our attendees this year, as well as their continued support of Comic-Con.”

Fans interested in attending signings at the Warner Bros. booth should review the schedule listed below, then plan to visit the Sails Pavilion at the time of each drawing.  All fans present at the appointed time will receive numbered tickets that feature a distinct sticker. Then a randomized drawing will determine which fans receive wristbands granting access to each autograph line.
