Stop by the NCsoft booth (#5345) at Comic-Con International San Diego to meet artists and developers from City of Heroes FreedomTM and Guild Wars 2®. They’d love to chat with you and answer questions you have about their games. Check out the latest from City of Heroes Freedom, and try your hand at the Engineer profession in Guild Wars 2 on PCs provided by Alienware and with peripherals from Razer.

Desdemona from City of Heroes Freedom will make appearances at the NCsoft booth during Comic-Con San Diego to meet fans. David “Noble Savage” Nakayama will also be creating free illustrations of selected City of Heroes Freedom players’ in-game characters. The artists from Guild Wars 2 will be signing limited edition postcard books, as well. Stop by the NCsoft booth to find out more.

Rethinking the Online RPG: How Guild Wars 2 Explores New Dimensions in Social Gaming

The upcoming Guild Wars 2 MMO will be an immersive, dynamic gaming experience that will shatter clichés and player expectations for game design and social game play in online fantasy RPGs. Set in a beautiful, richly detailed fantasy world, Guild Wars 2 is based on ArenaNet’s popular Guild Wars online game series, which has sold over 6 million units worldwide.

In this presentation, ArenaNet creators such as Lead Content Designer Colin Johanson, Lead Writer Bobby Stein, Lead Concept Artist Kekai Kotaki, and Character Artist Kristen Perry will examine how the lore, design, and gameplay of Guild Wars 2 combine to deliver a fresh, social approach to online fantasy RPGs. Learn more about Guild Wars 2’s innovative dynamic event system and the game’s fluid and social-centric approach to combat. Supernatural: The Anime Series: The popular series Supernatural makes history this summer as the first-ever live-action show to be re-imagined in Japanese anime style. Renowned animation studio Madhouse — working with the full approval of series creator Eric Kripke — produced the anime series, which mirrors the story arc of Supernatural’s first two seasons, providing supplemental stories ranging from prequels and spin-offs to untold tales that fit within the Supernatural mythology.

HBO’s True Blood and Game of Thrones SDCC Panels

HBO is excited to announce that True Blood will make its fourth consecutive appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego this July. Additionally, Game Of Thrones will make its debut this year at Comic-Con, just days before production on season two begins in Northern Ireland.
