A limited edition of the Lost Girl comic book, a prequel to the series, will be given out at this year’s Comic-Con panel.

Lost Girl stars supernatural seductress Bo (played by Anna Silk/The Ghost Whisperer), a Succubus (a powerful female entity in folklore) who feeds off sexual energy. Emmanuelle Vaugier guest stars as “The Morrigan”, the leader of the Dark Fae.

Both Anna and Emmanuelle will be leading the panel at Comic-Con along with Executive Producer, Jay Firestone (Prodigy Pictures) and Creator, Michelle Lovretta.

About Lost Girl
Raised by human parents, Bo had no reason to believe she was anything other than the girl next door — until she “drained” her first boyfriend to death.

Bo has since hit the road alone and afraid. She discovers she is one of the Fae, creatures of legend and folklore, who pass as humans while feeding off them in secret, as they have for millennia. She is faced with choosing an allegiance between the Dark or Light Fae clans. Bo decides to take the middle path between humans and the Fae while embarking on a personal mission to unlock the secrets of her origin, protecting humans along the way.

Lost Girl co-stars Kris Holden-Ried as Dyson, a shape-shifting Fae, homicide detective and Bo’s love interest; Ksenia Solo as Kenzi, Bo’s human confidante and street-smart survivor, Zoie Palmer as Lauren, a human doctor who competes for Bo’s heart; Rick Howland as Trick, the mysterious owner and bartender at The Dal Riata tavern, with a secretive past that is yet to be unlocked, and K.C. Collins as Hale, a handsome male “Siren” who is the eternal bachelor, ultimate wingman and Dyson’s partner on the force.

The Secret Circle: The ordinary becomes extraordinary in this romantic drama about a coven of young witches, from The Vampire Diaries executive producer Kevin Williamson, based upon the book series by L.J. Smith (The Vampire Diaries).

Person of Interest: From J.J. Abrams and The Dark Knight co-writer Jonathan Nolan comes an action-packed hour for CBS about an ex-CIA operative and a mysterious billionaire who team up to stop violent crimes before they happen in New York City.

Supernatural: The Anime Series: The popular series Supernatural makes history this summer as the first-ever live-action show to be re-imagined in Japanese anime style. Renowned animation studio Madhouse — working with the full approval of series creator Eric Kripke — produced the anime series, which mirrors the story arc of Supernatural’s first two seasons, providing supplemental stories ranging from prequels and spin-offs to untold tales that fit within the Supernatural mythology.

Warner Bros. is getting ready for Comic-Con 2011!

Warner Bros. is getting into the swing of  Comic-Con 2011. They are steadily updating their page and have released some cool info. As Tammy Golihew says that they are planning on having cast members from shows like The Big Bang Theory, The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Fringe, V, Chuck and Human Target. Well, I don’t think Human Target will be there as Fox canceled the show. I hope that they will still have some kind of Smallville panel but it’s probably unlikely. Other shows that were mentioned were Children’s Hospital, Young Justice, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo and ThunderCats!

We also learn that Warner Bros. will have an Exclusive ThunderCats Shirt!

…and Special Editions of TV Guides featuring WB shows like last year!

Warner Bros. is excited to once again return to Comic-Con in San Diego this July.  We’ll have even more TV shows, new games, films and stars at The Con for the panels, signings and available for sampling.  We are working hard on the designs for the 2011 Comic-Con WB booth and we’ll be introducing a new ticketing system this year for the signings and panels.  Please check back here for developing news, new videos each week and more information about the schedule.  We look forward to seeing you in San Diego, or having you follow us here on the site as well as on Twitter at @thewbdotcom where we will have up to the minute information, photos and video.

Dylan Dog: Dead of Night

Dylan Dog: Dead of Night is a new horror/comedy film based on one of the world’s most popular comics. Brandon Routh stars as Dylan Dog, world famous private investigator specializing in affairs of the undead. His PI business card reads “No Pulse? No Problem.” Armed with an edgy wit and carrying an arsenal of silver and wood-tipped bullets, Dylan must track down a dangerous artifact before a war ensues between his werewolf, vampire and zombie clients living undercover in the monster infested backstreets of New Orleans.

Unfortunately, I’ve read a ton of reviews from Italy and the fans are NOT happy. First off, they don’t understand why Dylan’s sidekick, Groucho Marx, is NOT in the movie. Xarabas, Dylan’s father is not in the movie either as one pointed out. The Italian fans also suggest that we read the comics and see their point of view. Not having the movie set in London also threw them for a loop, even though some fans understand it was probably due to trying to stay within budget.

Even after reading these comments, I think I’ll try to go watch this movie. I can see their point of view as it is one of their iconic characters in their country. Anyone else want to go? It looks like a corny but fun movie. It’s funny enough to see Sam Huntington in it. I think he does a fine job in Syfy’s Being Human, and think he’ll do well here as well.
