Tickets are currently discounted until July 1st. Their 1-Day Pass is only $10 and gives you access to unlimited gaming! Their Week-Long Pass is $30 and gives you unlimited gaming the entire week!
Gam3rCon is a week-long convention that celebrates all things gaming. From traditional tabletop games to the latest in video games, from “geek” inspired theatre and artwork to Industry Night rooftop parties, Gam3rCon is THE destination for gaming enthusiasts and industry members.
Their Video Game Arena is where you can join them for free play or compete in one of their tournaments. LanDiego.com and 760 LANS will set up a massive gaming venue at Gam3rCon. Systems will include PS3, XBox360, Nintendo Wii and PC consoles. A variety of games will be available, including: MW3, Call of Duty, Halo: Reach, Street Fighter 4, Marvel vs. Capcom, Smash Bros, League of Legends and StarCraft 2. You can also hang out in their RETROCade, featuring the Classic Consoles of Yester-Year (NES, Sega, etc.)!
The Gam3rCon Tabletop Gaming Lounge will feature a fully loaded gaming room for tabletop, role playing, miniature and card games. Groups, teams, and individuals are invited to bring their own games and host gaming sessions. Their friends from USAopoly will be there with their latest game releases.
Gaming experts will be available hosting game sessions, as well as the chance for everyone to learn new games throughout the week.
There are live local productions, industry panels, and midnight movie screenings in their 107 seat venue. Their Rooftop is a unique, multi-use outdoor venue with prime views of the San Diego skyline, which hosts Comic-Con after parties, live music, movie screenings, and more.
New to Gam3rCon this year will be artwork inspired by the characters, themes and stories that populate the gaming world. Their friends at 8-Bit Cubist will be putting on an exhibition that takes an artistic look at the vision and core values of the 8-bit era of video games. This is NOT retro!
