Blizzard Entertainment Will Have Exclusives at Comic-Con 2013!

Blizzard Entertainment will be at Comic-Con 2013! It seems that all of their blogs all say the same thing… Diablo III, StarCraft II and World of Warcraft will be at SDCC in full force with exclusives, showing future products and having booth signings!

Blizzard Entertainment is excited to announce that our licensed products will be strutting their stuff on the show floor at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con!

Along with showcasing some of the new licensed products coming out this year, the booth will also be where the writers and artists behind some of our comics and books will be signing. We will also be selling exclusive SDCC products for the first time.

Yeah, we’ve been keeping busy.

DC Entertainment Reveals Their WonderCon Anaheim 2013 Exclusives!

WonderCon Anaheim 2013 is only two weeks from now and DC Entertainment has revealed their exclusives for the show. So far there are three exclusives that will be available and they are the official WonderCon Anaheim T-Shirt, Batman #17 variant cover and Justice League of America #1 variant cover.

If you haven’t already heard, this year, the official WonderCon Anaheim convention T-shirt features an iconic image of Superman drawn by Jim Lee, DC Entertainment Co-Publisher and artist of this summer’s new series SUPERMAN UNCHAINED written by Scott Snyder. This art is also featured on the cover of the official convention Program Book. Here’s a first look at the t-shirt!

DCE’s WonderCon Anaheim exclusive variant covers envelop two of DC Comics’ most popular series! Priced at $10 each, the BATMAN #17 and JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #1 variant covers are must-have collector’s items.

Illustrated by fan favorite artist Greg Capullo, the WonderCon Anaheim cover for BATMAN #17, written by Scott Snyder, takes the popular die-cut covers from “Death of the Family” and brings them back one last time for the epic final issue. The cover depicts The Joker’s face folded over Bruce Wayne’s, with purple background, to create a lasting impression while representing the ground breaking crossover which featured the Clown Prince of Crime’s triumphant return to DC COMICS—THE NEW 52.

JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #1, the newly launched ongoing series written by Geoff Johns, arrives with a new variant to complete your collection of now over 52 covers for the issue. Like the other covers drawn by series artist David Finch, the WonderCon Anaheim exclusive cover shows key members of the JLA raising the U.S. flag in color, while the other members of the team stand watch in a black and white background.

The first of DC Collectibles WonderCon Anaheim exclusives features Green Lantern’s Guy Gardner and Larfleeze. The highly-articulated 3.75″ PVC figures will include character specific accessories including Glomulus.  The new two-pack will be available for $30.

The other exclusive is the new Aardman two-pack featuring Classic Batman and Robin. Based on the popular shorts that air every Saturday as part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network, the figures are 6.375” and 9.5” respectively and will be available for $40.

WonderCon Anaheim takes place March 29-31 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. To purchase the T-shirt, variant covers, and DC Collectibles exclusives, head on over to the DC Collectibles Boutique at the Graphitti Designs booth (#1001), where they will be available while supplies last. And visit the DC Entertainment booth (#801) to meet some of your favorite writers and artists.

Get in Line Now! IDW Announces Comic-Con 2012 Exclusives!

Besides being America’s biggest comic convention, Comic-Con International: San Diego has become ground zero for publishers to premiere special, exclusive editions of their products to legions of dedicated fans. Without further ado, here are the offerings that will be available from IDW Publishing!

Some of the titles below will be available for pre-order from IDW’s Web store beginning June 22nd. Fans who preorder will be able to pick up their books from the IDW booth at Comic-Con.

A limited edition of the hotly anticipated Daredevil: Born Again Artist’s Edition will be on hand. Packaged in a deluxe slipcase, signed, numbered, and featuring a variant cover of David Mazzucchelli’s historic artwork, this edition will be limited to 250 copies and priced at $200. It will be available for pre-order from IDW’s Web store.

Speaking of Artist’s Editions, an exclusive version of Sergio Aragonés’ Groo The Wanderer: Artist’s Edition will be premiered at Comic-Con as well! Signed, numbered, and limited to 250 copies, this edition will feature a variant cover and be priced at $150. This title will be available for pre-order from IDW’s Web store.

Continuing the late creator’s legendary legacy, IDW will have an exclusive edition of Dave Stevens: Covers and Stories on hand. The convention-exclusive edition will have a variant cover, limited to 250 copies, of which only 100 will be available at Comic-Con, priced at $60, only available at the IDW booth!

A special convention-exclusive edition of Parker: The Score by Darwyn Cooke will also be available, featuring a variant dust jacket and numbered signature plate that is signed and numbered by Darwyn! This edition is limited to just 175 copies, priced at $60, and will only be available at IDW’s booth.

For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans, IDW has a special surprise! For this convention only, IDW is producing a very special set of TMNT Ultimate Collection Volumes 1-3 Deluxe Slipcase. The three volumes will come in a deluxe, full-color slipcase. Priced at $200, there will only be 40 of the black-and-white-cover convention-exclusive editions! These sets will be available for preorder through IDW’s Web store.

An exclusive hardcover edition of Locke & Key Volume 5: Clockworks will be available as well. This full-color hardcover will be priced at $30 and limited to 300 copies available only at IDW’s booth.

For the hardcore LOCKE & KEY fans, IDW will also have limited quantities of new, high-quality pewter key replicas! 200 “Legacy Edition” OMEGA KEYS and GHOST KEYS and 50 copies of the WHISPERING IRON will be available for $25 each, only at IDW’s booth.

Ashley Wood and his incredible robotic concern ThreeA will be a part of IDW’s booth with exclusives in tow! Ash and company will be bringing along the first-ever ZOMB toy, a zombified departure from his famous robots, but in his inimitable style! The ZOMB toy will be blind-boxed, meaning which ZOMB is in the box is a mystery! The ZOMBS will be priced at $100, limited to 250 pieces, and available for pre-order through the exclusive ZOMB pre-order site!

In conjunction with Ash’s presence in the IDW booth, two deluxe hardcover collections will be available as well! Limited to 500 copies each and priced at $75 and $50 respectively, the complete LORE and ZOMBIES VS. ROBOTS will be available for pre-order through IDW’s Web store.

Joe Jusko fans, pay attention! A special convention-exclusive variant edition of THE ART OF JOE JUSKO will be available at the IDW booth! Limited to just 100 copies and signed and numbered with a variant cover, this edition will be priced at $100 and only available at the show.

Fans of powerhouse creator Amanda Conner can also rejoice, as there will be an exclusive variant edition of THE ART OF AMANDA CONNER priced at $60 and available for pre-order from IDW’s Web store. Additionally, Amanda will be signing at the IDW booth throughout the show! It’s a perfect opportunity for fans to get their new exclusive book signed.

For the many sketch-seekers at Comic-Con, this year IDW will have their very own branded sketchbooks! Priced at $20, these hardcover books are full of high-quality art paper that fans will treasure for years once they’ve been filled with drawings by their favorite artists. Additionally, each fan that purchases a sketchbook will be entered to win a mystery sketchbook with a selection of drawings from several of the artists that will be at the IDW booth during the show!

Cirque Du Soleil & Marvel Bring KÀ To Comic-Con

Marvel Entertainment and Cirque du Soleil have teamed up to tell the story of KÀ. The comics will follow the journey of Imperial Twins who try to reunite their kingdom. The first issue will be released at Comic-Con 2012!

KÀ by Cirque du Soleil, the spectacular production at MGM Grand Las Vegas, and Marvel Custom Solutions team up to tell the story of this acclaimed live production through an all-new, collectible comic book. KÀ #1 will debut at the Marvel booth (#2329) during Comic Con International in San Diego, July 12 – 15, 2012.

A Little Information from Arcana Comics About What’s in Store for Comic-Con 2012

We are just a few weeks away from our BIGGEST San Diego Comic-Con ever, including loads of announcements. We’ll give you a tease of some of those things in just a couple of weeks, but for right now, we’ll just warn you, they’re AWESOME! Arcana Comics is delving into new imprints, a load of new titles, and some partnerships with some pretty spectacular people. You’ll see… just keep on reading these newsletters.

As promised… At SDCC this year, we’re going to have some great exclusives in limited quantities, so be sure to head to our booth, #2415, to find out what we have! In the next week or so, all of the Exclusives should be listed on the SDCC web site as well, so you can check there. It’s going to be a good year!

Around 50 creators from Arcana are making the trip to San Diego this year and will be appearing from Wednesday night through Sunday afternoon to meet fans, sign autographs, and show off their books. Be sure to show them some love by showing up! The official signing schedule will be sent out soon, too!

Hot Toys Announces Their Limited Edition Black Widow Figurine from The Avengers!

Here is Hot Toys‘ new Limited Edition Figurine of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow from The Avengers.

Hot Toys is proud to present the 1/6th scale Black Widow Limited Edition Collectible Figurine from the smash hit The Avengers. The movie-accurate Black Widow collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Scarlett Johansson in the movie, highlighting the newly sculpted head, hair implantation, prominent body shape, highly detailed costume and accessories.
